Download file name: Loch's Brass Telescope (Fully Functional)***THE FUNCTIONAL VERSIONS OF THIS MOD REQUIRE TIMESLIP's
MORROWIND GRAPHICS EXTENDER PROGRAM TO WORK***
You can find MGE here:
http://www.timeslipped.co.uk/
From the Morrowind Launcher, select Data Files and check the box
next to ONLY one of the the LOCH_Telescope.esp files, depending
on which you want to use. Only use one version. Here's a description of each one:
LOCH_Telescope.esp: Regular mod, doesn't require MGE to work. The
telescope is for novelty purposes only, and in this version does
not function, but can still be bought from Arille.
LOCH_Telescope (mesh).esp: Requires MGE to function. Uses a mesh
& texture to make the telescope's viewport, which might suit your
tastes better than the fullscreen version. However, in this version
you'll see the sun's glare and the HUD will still show...Timeslip
reported stuttering with this version, so it might not be the
ideal one for you unless you try it and like it better.
LOCH_Telescope (fullscreen).esp: This is the version I intended
to make and for all intents & purposes is the one I recommend using
for the look alone. Creates a viewport for the telescope using
fullscreen shaders, blocking out the HUD and the sun's glare so your
telescopic view is unhindered. Obviously it requires MGE for this.
If you have MGE installed, you probably alreay know how to work it
to a degree, so I wont go into that here, but I will tell you how
to work the telescope:
First, buy it from Arille. Then, go to your inventory and click on
it, and then drag it onto your character's picture in the stat menu,
which will bring up the viewport. If you've assigned your menu key
to the right mouse button, now might be a good time to assign it to
the mouse wheel BUTTON (not the wheel itself, the button) so that
you can toggle the stats & the viewport separately.
You can also assign the telescope to a MGE hotkey, making it
instantaneously toggle on & off without even having to open the stat
menu or drag it onto your characters picture. THis also works for
adjusting the amount of zoom in the viewport, which can be
assigned to the mouse wheel to zoom further in & out.
Any questions about the mod can be directed here:

DO NOT email me about MW mods, they'll be ignored. Use the ES Forums PM function, I'll reply.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion are epic, open-ended single-player
games where the player, gamer will create and play custom-made or predefined characters with specialized
classes. You can also create your own character classes to enhance your role-playing experience. The
possibilities are only limited by your imagination. Be a noble hero or Paladin embarking on epic quests,
or an insidious thief rising to leadership of the guild. Be a malevolent sorcerer developing the ultimate
spell of destruction, or a reverent healer searching for the cure to a plague. Your actions define your
character, and your gameplay changes and evolves in response to your actions. Confront the assassins'
guild, and they take out a contract on you. Impress them, and they try to recruit you instead. No two
sagas are the same in the world of Morrowind or Oblivion.
You may advance the main quest whenever you choose, neither Morrowind or Oblivion are linear games.
There are many opportunities to explore the vast world and varied factions to be joined, such as the
thieves, mages and fighter guilds.
