Download file name: Fireside Refrain - DMP5This is a pack of 7 more mp3s I have made based on music from Daggerfall, this time focused on folk or 'bard' style pieces.
For use in-game or as modder's resource (more info in readme).
Remember, I did not write these scores. These pieces of music are based on Bethesda's Daggerfall scores, so credit Bethesda and not me.
This pack is dedicated to a whole ton of people; listed in the readme.
These are the songs included in this pack:
Folk1, Folk2, and Folk3
Three folk tunes building on a similar theme in different ways. Always memorable from Daggerfall. Folk2 wasn't quite dongleable as nothing felt right in place of the viola. Has anyone made a viola?
Square
Typically heard in taverns (as opposed to a town square!), and was always incredibly catchy, and sometimes annoying. Hopefully this version is smoother whilst retaining the original feel.
Street - (remix of Square)
This is the first time I've put an alternate version in one of these packs. It is the same piece, but with slightly different instrumentation and mastering providing a different feel, which makes me think of the tune being played out in the street.
Shop theme
Probably my favourite piece this time around. Curious, industrious, yet somehow somber and thoughtful, sweeping and grand. This piece always communicated the adventure of Daggerfall on so many levels, that it could result in one sitting and shopping all day. This is a version matching the original.
Shop theme - chamber version
An alternate version of the shop theme, arranged for 3 winds, harpsichord, and harp. I made this version with dongle's instrument models in mind.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion are epic, open-ended single-player
games where the player, gamer will create and play custom-made or predefined characters with specialized
classes. You can also create your own character classes to enhance your role-playing experience. The
possibilities are only limited by your imagination. Be a noble hero or Paladin embarking on epic quests,
or an insidious thief rising to leadership of the guild. Be a malevolent sorcerer developing the ultimate
spell of destruction, or a reverent healer searching for the cure to a plague. Your actions define your
character, and your gameplay changes and evolves in response to your actions. Confront the assassins'
guild, and they take out a contract on you. Impress them, and they try to recruit you instead. No two
sagas are the same in the world of Morrowind or Oblivion.
You may advance the main quest whenever you choose, neither Morrowind or Oblivion are linear games.
There are many opportunities to explore the vast world and varied factions to be joined, such as the
thieves, mages and fighter guilds.
